Two months before that the Adria Hotel was awarded the EU Eco Label – Flower. On this account Karel Doubek added: “By gaining another award in the field of ecology, we have managed to emphasis our endeavours in caring for the environment. We are happy that we managed to prove that it was possible to act environmentally friendly even in such an establishment as a hotel and we definitely will try to further develop our philosophy. The Adria Hotel has been following this direction for many years and it can boast the fact that the criteria requested for both of the awards are not fulfilled only formally on a paper, but they are a part of the everyday hotel operation.”
